My name is Mark Dunstan, and I live in Wilson, WY. I did my Bachelors of Fine Art at Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, OR.

I consider my painting practice as a way of developing a personal mythological system, a way of interperating and interacting with the world in metaphysical terms. Each painting is an experience (maybe a drawing, a thought inspired by reading, a personal event) which is reduced down to a kernel and allowed to germanate and expand, becoming an object that is filled both by the initial experience and the act of painting.
